Step inside the Hunter's $1b golf estate at open day
A WINE cellar is one of the premium upgrades on offer in homes built in the $1 billion Lovedale Farm golf estate.
Prospective buyers and visitors will be able to explore the development's purpose-built display home on Saturday at an open day event held on-site at the former dairy farm opposite The Vintage on Wine Country Drive.
The event will be held from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
The grand opening will showcase developer Capital Corporation's vision for the new residential and lifestyle community with a day of food, wine and entertainment.
Capital Corporation director Jim Hunter said 500 people had registered for the event.
The display home has premium finishes throughout, including a wine cellar, a main bedroom with an ensuite and walk-through wardrobe, and a farmhouse-style kitchen with a butler's pantry.
Other features include dedicated golf buggy parking, an outdoor kitchen, and a gas fireplace.
"This is the first Lovedale Farm product on the site, so it's that first taste of what we are delivering," Mr Hunter said.
"The sales centre has only been open for just over two weeks and we have already had just under $7 million in sales."
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is one of a collection of houses custom-designed for the project.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the estate's future first and 18th golf holes, with clubs and golf balls provided.
Golf buggy tours will be available to view selected Stage 1 home sites and the future golf holes.
The opening of the display home marks the latest milestone in the next stage of delivery at Lovedale Farm.
The first 200 homes and a championship golf course are anticipated for completion in 2027.
